Burnout

A horse with a rider gallops quickly. It looks like they are on their way to an important destination. Someone along the road shouts: “Where are you going?” The rider answers: “You must ask the horse.”
(Thich Nhat Hahn: The heart of Buddha’s teachings)

What is a burnout?

Burnout is a work-related psychological and physical exhaustion. It is a disturbed balance between the demands of the work and your personal needs.

Burnout is a hard warning that you have to change and that you will never be the old one, because you had to change the old.

The most important characteristic of burnout is the loss of control over your own (working) life. Recovering control is the most important focus of the treatment of your burnout.

How can a burnout be treated properly?

I have set up a special program for this. It does not only include coaching. Therapy and healing are also needed to re-balance you and make you stronger for your comeback. My combination therapy is very suitable for this.

You will complete this program, on average, within 3 to 6 months in order to be able to return to work in a healthy manner. This requires 7 to 14 consults. The program is tailor-made for you. In combination with depression or another diseases, a longer process of 9 to 18 months may be required.

It can also be shorter. The client experiences overview shows the example of a top athlete, who was intensively supervised in 12 weeks with 12 treatments and again delivered top performances.

Before I made the switch to a therapist, I worked in business life as a consultant, interim manager and coach for decades. With this experience in my backpack I can guide you well.
