Shingles

What is Shingles?

Shingles (also called Zoster) is caused by the reactivation in the body of the same virus that causes chickenpox, the Herpes Zoster virus. This occurs usually in adulthood and many years after the initial chickenpox illness.

The illness is characterised by a painful chickenpox-like rash on a small area of skin, usually on one side of the body (liver side).

Symptoms:
  • Earache
  • Nerve pains
  • Shingles
  • Chicken-pox
  • Pain in the liver region
  • Eye complaints
  • Neurological failure symptoms
  • Balance disorders

Pain and tingling associated with the rash may persist for weeks or months after the rash has cleared. This is called post-herpetic neuralgia.

The virus can be spread by air or in direct contact with the skin rash of infected people.

The shingles can be easily treated and extinguished with Alvital with frequency wire therapy.

Psychosomatics:
With this viral disorder there is in most cases a psychosomatic tendency in adults.
The psychic characteristics are:
  • periods of great stress
  • committed to 200%
  • go beyond your own borders
  • difficult to say no.

The treatment can sometimes be long and tough when the psychosomatics are strongly anchored in the personality.

With Psychodynamic therapy this can be treated well at Alvital.
